It has been announced that ‘Please Please Me’ and ‘With The Beatles’ – originally released in 1966 as commemorative albums marking their first visit – will be reissued on 26 June (Friday) as SHM-CDs and LPs featuring paper sleeves that reproduce the original artwork. At the same time, the single ‘Yellow Submarine / Eleanor Rigby’ Japan version, which featured the photo from the Japan tour, will also be reissued as a colour 7-inch single on Friday 26 June.

Furthermore, to commemorate the 60th anniversary of their first visit to Japan, a pop-up store will be held at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE HARAJUKU!!

The pop-up store is running from 25 June to 5 July, covering dates including the day The Beatles arrived in Japan (29 June) and their concert dates (30 June–2 July). In addition to CDs and LPs, the store will sell T-shirts, tote bags and other limited-edition merchandise available exclusively there.
