It was 50 years ago today. However, I've got a real bee in my bonnet over this concert. In the interests of history it should be remastered and released on DVD, as it's the only available full live concert footage of the biggest and greatest act in the entertainment world and yet we have to rely on poor quality bootlegs to watch it. Why? Fans around the world have been asking for years to have a quality release yet Apple only seem interested in the expensive repackaging of existing material. Come on people, this should be essential viewing for anyone interested in music or it's history. Four guys battling against a cacophony of noise without the aid of monitors, using a P.A. built for crowd announcements, yet producing perfect timing and harmonies. Unbelievable !!! Oh well, rant over. I'll dig out the bootleg I've got and relive it again.
