Suffolk Downs Racetrack, August 18, 1966 - 13th row, center. Every time any vehicle approached the stage, the crowd went nuts. Then the gates at the left end of the straightaway opened, and two Caddilac Limos rolled in (John and Ringo in the first, Paul and George in the second). They were right in front of us! as the Cyrkle was playing 'Red Rubber Ball,' George and Brian Epstein stood off to the side and conversed - another day in the office (George's hair was sooo long). John Lennon did his usual goofy dancing, while most of the reparte was from Paul. He performed 'Yesterday' solo acoustic. as a 14 year old, I knew I was witnessing history, and swore I would never miss a these guys again. At the end of the concert, Paul said, "See you next year." within 10 days, they had quit touring for good. My first concert experience has never been equalled.
