The original Yellow Submarine soundtrack of 1969 included just six Beatles songs - the other half of that album featured music from the movie performed by the George Martin Orchestra.

Welcomed but decades too late. All the songs from the movie on one release. And remastered to boot, and it sounds great. Somebody was thinking late at night...

Kind of a weird hodgepodge of material thrown together. Excellent choices, certainly, and preferable to the original 'Yellow Submarine' soundtrack album. It's just that hearing such a different range of songs from different periods in the Beatles' career all on one album takes a little getting used to.

I love the remixes from this album. The tracks have such a great punch to them. I only wish the team at Abbey Road would go back to the original multi-track tapes and remix everything. Put out a special remix box set!

This album is amazing, the newly remastered and remixed sound is great. Apple should release a parallel collection of the FAB albums remixed and remastered like this. I'm sure we fans and lots of other muisc collectors would buy them anyway!
