“Cinco De Mayo is the day Mexico won independence from France. Napoleon II wanted to rule Mexico. But Mexico wanted to be independent!! Napoleon had many soliders. It was a battle 4 to 1. Even though Mexico had a smaller army, they loved their country!! So they fought with all their might, and won!Cinco De Mayo is Mexican Independence Day and is celebrated in Mexico and The United States.
