“My first memory of my mom singing is that we were in the car and she was singing "Don't Let Me Down" because it was on the radio. I think she said something like "That's John Lennon singing." but I don't know for sure; it was a long time ago. One of my best friends introduced me to the Beatles officially in fifth grade. I had been listening to them on the radio all my life but I hadn't known it was them. The first song I listened to was Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. I wanted to hear it first because I had recently adopted a dumped kitten and named her Lucy. The second song I listened to was Elinor Rigby, because it was my friend's favorite. The third song was She Loves You.”
