Fav Track: I Am the Walrus (MMT)
“It's hard to pick just one favourite track, because the variety is so wide and almost everything works great. But as a big fan of nonsense, I absolutely adore "I Am the Walrus" for its lyrics and surreal feeling. I also love the story behind it: "Let the f***ers solve this one"...”

“Mrs.Starrisacartnon: It says "biitoruzu" (="Beatles"). : D”

“But there's a good side too: their cuteness SOLD. If the millions of average kids who weren't that musical hadn't swooned over the Beatle's pretty faces, the band would never have become that popular; there wouldn't have been any fad. Without the fad and the frustration it brought, the band would maybe not have had the pressure to make more imaginative music and Sgt. Pepper, for example, would've never been born. And if the Beatles had never become so famous and legendary and things, you and me maybe would've never had heard about them! So even the shallowest fangirls are not entirely a bad thing. Let all the flowers bloom!”

“Still about the "cuteness" argument (sorry to continue it, but anyway)... At least in the Beatlemania years, I think, many of the teen fans (not all, of course) liked the band mainly because it was in and the boys were hot. The papers wrote about the Beatles every day, mostly about stuff like George's favorite foods, and interviewers nearly never asked them about their music. And at the concerts, like we all know, you couldn't heard anything because of the screaming. So, I suppose, to many of the "fans" back then, the music itself didn't mean very much. To the band, of course, all this was very frustrating. (continues...)”

“Ahaha, this is just priceless! It's already strange that "biitoruzu"(heh, I had to check what it said) is written on an arrow that points to Paul (as if he was "Beatles" and the others were a backing group or something), but also that it points to his privates... Mysterious. : D I'm sure the "Paul Is Dead"-people would find some interesting hidden meanings in this one.”

- About me
-
“I'm an upper secondary art school student from Finland. I've been a Beatles fan for a year and a half only, but the Fab Four has already changed my life in oh so many ways.
My hobbies include drawing and painting, music (especially 50's - 70's), playing guitar poorly, cooking and eating vegetarian food, movies, british comedy and yoga.”
- Fav album
- Revolver
-
“Rubber Soul and Revolver, I think, mark a turning point in the band's career: the music's more varying and imaginative, more experimental, a little bit more serious than on the earlier albums, yet there's still the pop-ish-ness and joy. I prefer Revolver because it's slightly more mature and artsy than RS, and George is beginning to be as good a songwriter as John and Paul. And the cover artwork, too, is awesome!”
