Name: Lindt

Fav Track: We Can Work It Out (The Beatles 1962-1966)

It's the most-listened-to Beatles song on my laptop. I have a sentimental attachment to it. Whenever I hear it on the radio I gasp and am delirious for the next two-and-a-half minutes. (Most-listened-to song is "No Milk Today" by Herman's Hermits, then "My Sentimental Friend" also by HH, "Another Day" by Paul, and then this one.) But then I also like "Day Tripper" and "For No One".

About me

I enjoy "oldies" music (esp. British Invasion which ROCKS!) which makes some people think that I'm out of my mind, but my mind is a rather roomy place so I'm very much within it. My favourite artist is actually Herman's Hermits (hope this isn't a sin here). The Beatles are my second favourite, or maybe even one-and-a-half. People think I like the Beatles more because a) they have never heard of Herman's Hermits (gasp!) and b) I am in such a huge wave of Beatlemania but still like HH.
I started liking the Beatles in December 2009 because my friend (who is too tasteless to enjoy them herself, I expect) lent me an album (1962-1966), and I listened, and I thought, 'hey, this is actually quite good', and 'wow, I've heard this on the radio! I actually really like this song!!!' ("Ticket to Ride" and "Day Tripper" and "Norwegian Wood").Then I had "Drive My Car" stuck in my head. Currently, my albums count is eight (1962-1966, 1967-1970, 1, Rubber Soul, Revolver, Let it Be, Let it Be...Naked (er...), Anthology 3).
Musically, I am extremely fussy and LOATHE everything remotely modern. I like male voices because they sound better (well, if you hear me sing you would think so too), being not too squeaky and chills-up-my-spine and earsplitting (But I don't mind Lulu). I prefer rock music, and suddenly am liking psychedelic rock (something that is really unlike me because I am a rather reserved person). Classically, I like baroque, especially Vivaldi. My literature choices are more catholic, and currently I am having an Agatha Christie craze, so I have learned these 3 things about murder mysteries: MOTIVE, PSYCHOLOGY and KNOWING. I like Harry Potter most.
I am Christian, and I truly rely on God to help me through the day, or I will probably have a stress attack. Favourite verse is Hebrews 13:8. Really, Christianity is such a nice and logical and forgiving and interesting religion.
My favourite Beatle is Paul cos he is a WONDERFUL composer, singer, musician and he has a (really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really) nice voice. I can still remember when I found out who he was - 2006, that Heather Mills business all over the news and I was just going, 'So what about some old person who is divorcing his wife, but then she is unusually greedy, etc.' and my friend said to me, 'You know who Paul McCartney is?' and I said, 'No,' and she said, 'He was as Beatle,' and I said, 'Oh,' cos I'd heard of the Beatles. And then he was just this name on the radio sometimes, and then that person who wrote "Ebony and Ivory" and then when I heard "We Can Work It Out" for the first time in my whole entire life, I was so positive he was singing it (nice voice!), yet I was just a complete newbie to the Beatles...and what can I say but Paul, you rock and I utterly love you!!! (Er, well, not romantically.) (Awkward turtle.) A necessary comment: "Give My Regards to Broad Street" and "Chaos and Creation in the Backyard" were good, but "Memory Almost Full" was a bit disappointing, sorry.
As for 'Lindt', it is half of a nickname I have which incorporates my name and favourite food, which is dark chocolate, especially Lindt. Well, it's healthy. Actually, dunno if chocolate is really food, but in that case I like mushrooms. I am semi-vegetarian for ENVIRONMENTAL reasons.

Fav album
Revolver

For now...
But it's so cool, and I just love it, especially "For No One". Well, except for "Yellow Submarine" because I have something against it.

Wow, that sounds fun. Just a word of advice though; if only the editors' articles are published, there will be public resentment, so try and expand the horizons. I think you'll do great!
My life? It's going very...well, there's only one word to describe it: Anglophilically (if that's a word).
