Fav Track: For No One

because there is way too many I love and it's ludicrous to only have ONE favorite. So I just picked the one I was currently listening to. :)

My Comments

  • didn't belong on a Beatles album imho. I can't stand it fowards, it's a bit better backwards. if 5 times as creepy. (turn me on dead man)It's not music though. It's the only Beatles track I'll skip.

  • I love this song, I don't care what John said about it or what anyone says about it. :P

About me

My name is Mary. I'm 18. Neither of my parents are Beatles fans and so I didn't grow up as a Beatles fan like many other people. Infact, for the longest time I thought they were one of the most overrated bands of all time.... until I actually listened to them ofcourse :) The only way to describe what happened when I did was probably to say that I came down with a lifelong case of Beatlemania. There is no cure, and I am absolutely fine about that.

Favorite Beatle:
I love all four immensely, and I usually don't like to play favorites. However, I do have a favorite; I'd by lying if I said I didn't. Mr. George Harrison, the scouse of distiction <3 He is witty and hilarious, serious and thoughtful, and honest. How he is considered the "quiet" Beatle, I'll never understand. Anyone who has seen interviews of his, or have seen A Hard Day's Night and/or Help wouldn't think so either. He was very talented (as they all undoubtedly were) and I thank him for sharing his music with the world. I love his solo career the most, but he ofcourse with the songs he WAS allowed to put on Beatles records were fantastic. (I mean Taxman, Here Comes the Sun, Something, Within You Without You, Think for Yourself etc? purely fantastic excellence, seriously)

Showing love to the other Beatles:

Paul McCartney: I love his exuberance, his brilliant songs (I LOVE his love songs and don't find them "silly" in the slightest :P), whenever he winks, and the way he would shake his head while playing and singing. like when he would go "AHHH!". and just by the way, Paul ISN'T dead!

John: I love certain aspects of John. He was hilarious, he was conscious of the world, he had witt, and ofcourse I love his songs. He really seemed to change into a completely different person when Yoko entered his life though, sadly.

Ringo: He's awesome :) He's funny and a great drummer and I like his songs as well. He's...well, he's Ringo. not much else needs to be said...lol.
