Name: Greg McCoy

Fav Track: Rain (Past Masters)

I really don't have a FAVORITE, I love them all. Rain is one of my favorites. I have been waiting for this moment for a long time ( 09-09-09 ). I like the sounds in Rain. The varied speed recording gives it a surreal feel. Can't wait to hear the re-master.

My Comments

  • I have No Direction Home, and The Last Waltz is the best Rock & Roll concert film ever made (Haven't seen Shine a Light yet, but I'm sure it's great). THIS WILL BE A MUST HAVE!!!!

George Harrison Documentary Directed By Martin Scorcese on 14th Jul 10.

  • I had this in mono on vinyl way back when. I now have it in mono again on CD. BELIEVE ME... Mono is the way this album should be heard. I think so anyway. To each is own I guess...

  • I want this now!!!!!!!!!!

Ringo Declares "Y Not" on 30th Nov 09.

  • Definitely Paul's glasses. If you look closely you can see that they are strung left handed. :D

Paul during a recording session for the album "Revolver" on 28th Oct 09.

  • WOW! I had to post something after reading "mattwest" comment. This was truly a breakthrough not just for pop music, but for music in general. Oh...and the sound quality is very much improved over the '86 transfers to digital. I had the stereo & mono mixes on vinyl. Now I have both mixes of the remasters. BELIEVE ME!!! HUGE DIFFERENCE.

    Revolver on 28th Oct 09.

  • I'm guessing the picture was taken in late Winter , or early Spring of '67.

Back of Japanese reissue 1981 on 28th Oct 09.

  • "Get back Loretta, you been playin' on the roof again! Ya' know yo' mommy doesn't like that! SHE'LL HAVE YA' ARRESTED, GET BACK!!!!

About me

Too much to explain.

Fav album
Revolver

Same thing. I love all the albums, but this one was really the turning point in pop music, not just Beatle music. I special ordered the mono mixes on vinyl when I was a kid. Pepper and Revolver are completely different in mono. Now I have them all in the new remastered versions. It's like listening for the first time.
