Fav Track: I'm Down

This track rocks, and it's a lesser-known Beatles song.

My Comments

  • This was a great film - really documents the excitement of the time and the magnetism of the Beatles. Loved Ringo dancing in the nightclub, and Paul clowning with the transistor radio!

The First US Visit on 5th Dec 10.

  • My favorite part of the anthology is the clip from "Drop In," the Swedish TV show. The Beatles tore it up, and the hosts were totally astounded!

The Beatles Anthology on 5th Dec 10.

  • This was in my car's cd player for a long time. And then the stereo remasters came out...

    Love on 5th Dec 10.

  • If aliens ever visit the Earth, they will probably be Beatles fans :-)

The Beatles on iTunes on 5th Dec 10.

  • It was so awesome to watch this concert; the restoration is fabulous! I felt sorry for the fellas being pelted by all those jellybeans, tho!

The Beatles. Live At The Washington Coliseum, 1964. on 5th Dec 10.

  • Hmmm, I dunno about this. I'd rather just see "Let It Be" released on DVD.

Yellow Submarine in 3D on 30th Sep 09.

About me

I'm too young to remember the Beatles when they were still together, but old enough to have been a fan of all their solo works. Saw Paul in concert in L.A. during his "Flowers in the Dirt" tour and hoping to see him again someday. My earliest Beatles memory is of my older cousin crying on the day the press reported that the Beatles broke up. I was two or three at the time. I've been a fan most of my life, and I just can't imagine what my life would've been like without the Beatles. Their artistry has given me abundant happiness and inspiration. I'm planning my pilgrimage to Liverpool for 2011 Beatles Week in August. It will be a dream come true!

I love the collection of songs on this album, and the experimental flavor of it.
