About me

“I'm a hardcore Beatle-maniac! I fell in love with them last summer - that's when it got crazy. I've been listening to them forever and just didn't know that it was them when a song of theirs was playing. I do believe that the Beatles were, without a doubt, the greatest band to ever enter the music scene, and I will argue with anyone who says different. I have seen Sir Paul McCartney twice in concert. I sang along to every word, which caused my throat to go hoarse pretty quickly. I cried as he sang tribute to George and John. If you ever get the chance, GO TO SEE HIM. I laughed, I cried, I screamed and everything in between. I plan on learning how to play electric bass and joining or starting a Beatles cover band. It's a very far goal, but I'm gonna try with all my might. :)

I want to take this time to recommend an event for Beatlefans - or others. There is a festival, twice a year, in Louisville, KY and Washington D.C., called "Abbey Road on the River". It's my favorite time of year - the music is FANTASTIC (usually...) and the people are super nice. 65 different tribute bands from all over the world, all together for one purpose. If you do end up going, please allow me to recommend a few groups...let me know if you snag tix and need some pointers!
