“Even though a summary, as always it's intentionally deceptive in order to blank out the significance of Pete Best (as well as Mona); and to also focuss on The Cavern, whilst making little or no mention of the Casbah, Jacaranda, Indra, Kaiserkeller, Top Ten Club, or Star-Club. Pete has always been open about those days and non-spiteful. I believe fans can see in perspective that there were just a few kids who panicked when they thought they were going to lose a chance at the big time. That doesn't need to be hidden. But this constant 'blanking out' is not only frustrating to fans but an insult of intelligence. I also felt that watching the Anthology wasn't complete without Pete's contribution.”

“Getting his own star is rediculous. Since the early 70s his solo music career has been a complete flop and has been dropped by at least 6 record companies. The irony is that The Beatles have a star and now Paul - the most successful - is the only Beatle without one.”

“I also think it should be released with more material than it ever did originally. For example: numerous jam-type takes of the infamous "No Pakistanis" versions of Get Back have been bootlegged for years. It would be great to actually watch them being performed.”

“Yes we've been waiting for the DVD for a long time, but unless it still contains all the contraversy, fans will stick to the bootlegs. Apple underestimate the majority of fans, who do actually recognise that The Beatles are only human. Things like Paul relating an incident with a cop in the Mersey tunnel, in which he refers to him as a c***; and the time when Peter Sellers visited and John made drug-related jokes etc.; along with alot of the creative (or in many cases, non-creative) process needs to be left in. Tracks that went on to be solo recordings and the national anthem on the rooftop, along with John's Child Of Nature, all need to be kept in. True fans aren't stupid. They know of these and many other things. Don't deny or hide away. It will be embraced, not criticised.”
